SET Scramble

The Championship Golf Course is proud to be holding the 1st Annual SET Scramble National Championship, June 28th, 2010. The SET is an initiative of the PGA of America in order to add a new and exciting format to tournament golf, speed up the time it takes to finish the round and add to the overall enjoyment of the game.

SET stands for “same exact time”, which is the basic concept of the event. Two teammates hit at the exact same time off the tee box and select the best ball, all four teammates hit at the same time from the fairway, and two teammates putt at the same time until the ball is holed out. There is no entry fee associated with the event, and should your team place well, you will be eligible to enter the quarterfinals taking place at the “Chase at Coyote Springs” golf club near Las Vegas.
For signups and more information, please contact the Championship Golf Course at (775) 832-1146.

NCGA Zone Qualifier

The 44th Annual Regional Zone Championships will be held at the Championship Course the 21st of June.

The Zone Qualifier is a chance to get into the zone championships at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill located in the renowned Pebble Beach area of Carmel, Ca. The event will be played as a Best Balls of Four Net and requires each member of the team to carry a NCGA recognized handicap. The entry fee for the qualifying round is $40per team and signups are still available. Please contact Michael McCloskey, the Tournament Director of the Golf Courses at Incline Village for more details at (775) 832-2972.
